Chocolate avocado pudding
This chocolate avocado pudding recipe won over my husband back when we were dating. (Yes, I know. How very Stepford wife of me.) I don’t think he could believe it was healthy, or that it even had avocados in it. He kept looking up from his bowl saying, “but why does it taste so good?”, and “so this is chocolate?”

Yep, prepare to be mesmerized folks, this recipe is a keeper. What’s great about this dessert is that it’s high in good fat (avocado and coconut oil), which is amazing for your brain, lowering stress and balancing hormones. Plus, you’ll only need a little to feel satiated!

Chocolate Avocado Pudding
Serves: 2-4


  • 2 ripe avocados, peeled
  • 1/2 cup raw cacao powder
  • 1/2 cup raw honey, or maple syrup
  • 2 Tbsp coconut oil, softened
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla exract
  • 1/8 tsp. sea salt, or to taste (I used 1/4 tsp since I like that sea salt kick!)


  • Place the peeled avocados into a food processor
  • Blend until smooth
  • Slowly mix in the remaining ingredients one at a time
  • Blend until smooth and glossy
