Sparkling Rose Lemon Water June 25, 2018 Jun 25 2018 Ever since I returned to the Middle East, I’ve fallen (back) in love with flavours like rose, saffron and pistachio. Love is perhaps putting it mildly, I’ve probably become a tad bit obsessive. That why I’ve been turning to sparking rose lemon water in the afternoons for a pick me up. It’s just as refreshing as lemonade (without the heaps of sugar), helps fights bloating, and most importantly, it smells amazing and makes me feel like a Persian queen. The benefits: Rose water has anti-inflammatory properties, and contains Vitamin A, B3, C, D and E Lemons are a good source of Vitamin C for skin and immune health, the electrolyte potassium to aid hydration, and stimulates bile flow (to reduce bloating and help you stay regular) Sparkling Rose Lemon Water Ingredients 1 cup cold, sparkling water Juice from 1/4 lemon 1 tsp. food grade rosewater 1/4 teaspoon raw honey, to taste Instructions Mix it altogether If you want to be extra fancy, throw in some lemon slices, ice cubes and fresh rose petals About Alina I'm a Holistic Nutritionist based in Toronto, Canada and my official title is Certified Nutritional Practitioner (CNP).
